Who's Having Yours

Free Plants for Everyone! - Now available until 30th June 2010!!!!

If you were to receive a box full of baby plants for free*, who would you give it to?
Your best friend, maybe?
Your son or daughter?
Or your next door neighbour?
It could even be the milkman, if you like.
There’s no catch. No sales pitch. We just want more people to be growing more of their own food than ever before.

You already know that growing your own saves you money, saves you energy and keeps you healthy. So do someone else a favour and pass on the growing sense.

We’re doing something nice for you so that you can do something nice for someone else.Find the perfect garden for you and a free one for a friend.

We love growing our own food! It’s just so exciting picking fruit and vegetables that you know are the freshest, healthiest and most eco-friendly that they could possibly be!
Without wanting to get all preachy about it, we’d really like to get as many people as possible doing the same thing. That’s why we’re giving away free gardens this spring.
If you’re reading this, you probably already know how great growing your own is and you’re racking your brains trying to think who to give your free plants to.
But just in case you’d like more reasons why growing your own is the best, we’ve unearthed a few facts that we find quite incredible…

  • ¼ of UK carbon emissions are caused by food being transported around the UK!

  • Only 7% of teenage children eat enough fruit and vegetables!

  • The average adult in the UK drives 135 miles each year just to do their food shopping. In total our food travels 30 billion kilometers each year!

  • Nearly all the fruit and half the vegetables we eat in the UK are brought here from other countries!

  • We found these facts in newspapers,
'Growing vegetables is fun' edited by Emma Cooper and 'The Food We Waste Report' by WRAP, released in April 2008

The 'Who's having yours' campaign has been so successful that we've decided to keep it going until June 1st.

A big thank you to all of you who've already joined and those that are just about to.

    Our range of gardens
